ACE OFFICE RENOVATION

ACE Content, known for developing and producing premium original content across various mediums like feature film, episodic television, and digital media, embarked on an ambitious renovation of their office space. My role in this transformation was pivotal, as I was tasked with designing custom accordion-style doors that would be a key feature throughout the office. These doors, meticulously crafted in a steel shop in the Bronx, were not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Once transported to the site, they were assembled and painted in a sophisticated matte black, which beautifully concealed the industrial welded corners of the steel. The addition of transoms above the doors was a thoughtful touch, enhancing the influx of natural light and creating an illusion of higher ceilings.

This renovation went beyond mere aesthetics. It was about reimagining the workspace to foster flexibility and collaboration. The accordion doors played a crucial role in this, allowing spaces to be easily opened up or sectioned off as needed. The design was influenced by the sleek and modern Anomaly Door Designs 2017, a nod to the shared design ethos between ACE Content and its sister company, Anomaly. The overall layout, including the demolition of the old floor, partitions, ceiling, and lighting, was strategically planned to create an environment that resonated with the creative and dynamic nature of ACE Content. The execution of this extensive renovation was skillfully handled by Falcon Enterprises, ensuring that the vision for a transformed, collaborative space was brought to life effectively.
